After getting three estimates to pave my existing driveway (approx 18' x 70') Image Pros quote was right in line with the others. After committing to use Image Pros they got us in their schedule within a week and graded the existing driveway along with removing an existing sidewalk that ran along the edge of the driveway. After 5 days they came back and compacted the driveway and the next day they paved it. The driveway looks great. The only problem with Image Pros and the reason for the two B grades is communication. Lack of communication is a reflection of their responsiveness and professionalism. After they paved the driveway getting in contact with them was impossible, Bryan never returned my calls to let me know when they would take down the rope blocking the driveway. I also had several questions that I never got a chance to ask after the work. Because of the good job they did and because the driveway looks good I would use them again.
We are very pleased with the upgrade. Great job overall. Image Pros is possibly best known in the area for their driveway and parking lot work. We were uncertain at first if hardscaping and landscaping work was in their wheelhouse. We met the owners at a local home show and were impressed with their presentation of capabilities. We agreed to have them quote our project.
During the proposal stage, they provided us with nicely done computer renderings of different patio designs along with cost projections. The hardscaping designs utilized rendering tools from Unilock. We asked for one of the designs to be modified and requoted, then elected to move forward. Everything progressed well though the project did take longer than estimated. The weather was a factor as was their apparent heavy workload for other projects. Despite the delays, we received a wonderfully transformed patio and landscaping space with many design touches that we enjoy. The owners are knowledgeable and take care in watching over quality. At the end of the project, they provided an action list of refinements they planned to take care of. We didn't have to ask. They held to their quote and invoiced only for extras that we had authorized. I would definitely recommend this company for projects of this type.
When they gave me an estimate I wanted it completed by a certain date, because I was going away for vacation and wanted to be here when they did the work. They had a 3 week window to work in, but they didn't call Julie until 2 weeks after taking the job. This disappointed me because the next step was to actually complete the mud-jacking and seal the driveway after Julie marked the utilities. So they wanted to schedule the job on the date I planned to be away. When I complained they changed the date and was able to get the job done BEFORE I went on vacation. This tells me that once they understood my needs. although it took a second time, they adapted and did a great job sealing the asphalt. I did coat it myself a couple of years ago, but they did a much better job!
Thank you!
A satisfied costumer who will return to this company!
Job seemed to go well. Workers were skilled and courteous and the job looked very nice when it was completed. Now for the update. After about a month a crack has developed down the center of my front porch. I have been informed that some kind of epoxy and portland cement repair is going to be done other than replacement. I will post future updates as to how this looks when finished and how it holds up. Angies list makes you say whether you would use this provider in the future. They should have a maybe selection. We all like a company that stands behind their work, but I cannot make the decision at this time whether I would use them again pending on the quality of the repair.
In my lifetime of home ownership, I have had the opportunity to work with a number of home improvement contractors. Some of those experiences were good, some bad, while yet others were horrible. That's why I am taking the time to express my respect, thanks and gratitude for Image Pros and the work they've done for me on my properties over the last several years. One of the bigest differences between the 'other' contractors that I've worked with and Image Pros was the level of quality of their work, dedication to my satisfaction and commitment to a great experience they give to their customers. It was obvious from the first quote I received from Glenn Cox (the owner of Image Pros), through the last quote for work I had them do, that their pronounced dedication to customer satisfaction lies at the heart of their operation. It really has been a breath of fresh air working with Image Pros. One thing that became obvious was the professionalism of Image Pro's crews. The day the crew started my last project (a new asphalt/blacktop driveway), I could not believe my ears or my eyes: The entire crew looked like, and worked together, like a well oiled machine. The entire crew (and NOT just one or two of them), it seemed, must all have taken some advanced course in professional, courteous and kind behavior - lol.Throughout the entire project, it was obvious that these guys not only knew exactly what they were doing (and did it very well), but they took the time to 'humor me' and answer all kinds of questions I had about the process of installing our new driveway. I really believe that any other company would not have even come close to having that level of knowledge and eagerness to keep me happy.I just cannot say enough about Glenn and his crew(s). Each project they undertook for me over the years was an exercise in complete customer satisfaction. These guys actually took the time to get to know ME; something I have rarely ever hear about, let alone seen. Well, if you want to be happy and want or need to KNOW that the work done to your property is top notch, A1, then don't waste your time calling someone else - just call Image Pros and rest easy.
The guys working were very nice and I enjoyed talking to them after they were done working. I have never had this done before and it seems to be very messy. FYI, I had my garage doors open due to the extreme heat they use to repair the driveway. It left a light dusting of crude over items in the garage that was easily wiped off. Only disappointing aspect of the process was that it did warp some of my vinyl siding. On a side note, I plan on replacing that siding with a stone veneer anyways. The reason I mention that is because if you do have vinyl siding you will want to make sure it isnt damaged after the process is over. I have used these guys before for driveway sealing and they are always nice and professional
They were great. They came out on time and were very neat. They did the work that they said they would. I'm very satisfied. I felt the price was fair. I did not shop around much for price. I went on Angie's List and I went on the Business Bureau, and I assumed that it was okay.
The guy that came to give me the quote asked me how I heard of Image Pros so he could adjust quote accordingly. I told him I saw good reviews on Angieslist and he said "oh good, thats our best rate". He gave me a price for $125 ($95 for sealcoating, $30 for patches). Not the lowest price I've seen as I have received fliers in my mailbox from 5 other companies in the past year for sealcoating. Other companies had quoted anywhere from $66 to $85, although im sure this didn't account for the crack patching which cost an extra $30 with Image Pros. Im happy with the price for the quality of the work done. They did a clean job, used patch to take care of the cracks, and there are no lines/striping like i've seen in some other sealcoating jobs
The main problem I had was in coordinating the job. They originally scheduled the job for the day after the 4th of July extended holiday weekend (Tuesday July 5th). I went home at noon that day for lunch and saw nothing had been done. I called and asked what time they would arrive. I was told they would be out in the afternoon. Got home from work at 5 and still nothing. They called me at 5:30 and said they would reschedule to Friday because it looked like it may rain the next day.
I was home from work all day on Friday the 9th. Called in the morning to remind them that were scheduled for that day. They said they would be there late afternoon. Again, got a call a little after 5pm saying that their truck had broke down and needed to reschedule to the following Monday the 12th. The woman asked me how this worked for me, and I told her it "wasnt as good as today, I was home all day from work". But I again rescheduled. I asked her what time specifically they would do the job on Monday, the woman told me I could call Monday morning to find if it would be done in the morning or afternoon. I elected not to call and hope it would just be done sometime that day.
The job was in fact complete when I arrived home at noon on Monday, July 12th. They blocked off the drive with string and neon colored flags as hoped. Good final product, just seemed unprofessional in coordination.
Also I told the woman on the phone in a prior conversation that I had a coupon for 10% off from
. So my final price was $112.50. In my opinion, the guy who quoted the job originally should have applied this discount when he asked how I heard of the company and he said that was their best discount. (unless he did apply the discount unbeknownst to me and I received the discount twice, although I doubt this is the case).
The first contact was with the person who came out and inspected the job, and gave us an estimate. He was very helpful and responsive. Several changes were made as the planning proceeded and they were very helpful and responsive to whatever changes we requested. When they came to do the work they were professional and polite. The only glitch in the entire experience was that they had made arrangements to arrive at 8 am on certain day, and they didn't arrive as planned. After I called the company to complain, since we had stayed around the house waiting form them to arrive, the owner of the company came to our house right away. It was obvious that there had been a failure of communication within their company. The owner apologized, and they proceeded to commence the work later that same day. They kept us informed about what they were doing, and they kept everything around the job sight very clean and neat. When they completed the job I thought their work looked very good, and they left the area where they worked very neat and clean. We couldn't have been happier with the job they did. If I were going to do it again, I would use the same company, however, I would give attention to the area next to the edge of the new concrete driveway. I should have arranged for black dirt to be brought in, placed along the sides of the new concrete driveway, graded, and seeded. It was something we had not discussed, and something I had overlooked when originally discussing the job.
We are waiting for one more estimate as we usually get three. Image Pros was good. I liked the guy. He explained everything to me. He did a very thorough job. We haven't made a decision, but if it was up to me, I would definitely use them. We could probably do the driveway eventually but we don’t have the money right now, so we are just doing the resealing. I really appreciated his explaining everything to me and taking the time to talk to me about all the different options I had.
They arrived on time. They carefully cleaned the driveway with blowers, They applied the seal coating in a very careful manner. They instructed me to have it done every two years, but not every year. They worked and acted in a professional manner. Although I had told them to fill any cracks that might need filling, they said that I didn't have any that were bad enough. They took longer than other companies, due to their careful application, but charged nearly $100 less!. I highly recommend this company.
I was very satisfied with them. Their price was good. I was under the impression that the driveway needed to be ripped up and replaced. He convinced me that it had at least three years of life left in it. We walked the driveway extensively and he explained what he was going to do. Sure enough the driveway is in great shape now. It was going to cost $7,000 to replace it. I would definitely go with him when I replace it.
When I first booked Image Pros, about 2 weeks prior to them actually doing this job, I asked for a very specific date, as I was trying to get my house listed on the market and was coordinating a lot of jobs. Somehow I was under the impression that they could only come on that specific date if they called me the Monday of that week and confirmed that yes, they would be there THAT day. I didn't get a call, so I assumed that they wouldn't be there. Unhappily for them, they did try to come, but saw my driveway taken up by a huge *dumpster*!!! They thought we were being evicted! While I was certainly feeling that way, it was simply a huge effort to reduce as we are moving to a house half the size of our current one. The receptionist could not have been nicer, however, and was happy to reschedule me for the newly requested date. I felt horrible, as I know time is money for these companies. When Image Pros came out this time, they must have really groaned when they spotted the carpet van in the driveway! I pleaded with them to give me just a minute to get it moved, as the carpet guys were truly done. When that was accomplished, they went right to work, and had the driveway cleaned off and sealed in less than half an hour. There were three men (all eye candy I might add, which doesn't hurt *their IMAGE* ha) and the driveway was transformed. The cracks were not all filled in, but I think that was not the fault of them, nor even reasonable for me to expect, given the condition of MY driveway. After all, we'd had that huge dumpster, and neglected our driveway for years. Overall, their work was great, and the job was well done. Thank you, Image Pros!
Asphalt driveways need regular maintenance, such as filling cracks and sealing. Image Pro's leaves a quote for your driveway in your mailbox annually, and you just call and schedule an appointment. We did, and they came when they said and did a professional, neat job.
